Opportunity Rover at Endeavour Crater, Mars

NASA's Opportunity Rover took this photo on 15 August 2014, looking back while traveling around the edge of Endeavour Crater on Mars. The rover found evidence that water existed here long ago.

Dwarf Planet Ceres

Dwarf planet Ceres photographed by Dawn spacecraft in late April, 2015, when the spacecraft was 13,600km from Ceres. Dawn launched in 2007, and went into orbit around Ceres in March 2015.
